Terms of Use for Wiso

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Wiso ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Wiso is a weather application that displays weather forecasts alongside generated 3D isometric cityscape images. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather.

3. Use of the App

You agree to use Wiso only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose without prior written consent

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Options

Wiso offers the following subscription plans:

  • Monthly subscription
  • Yearly subscription

Current pricing is displayed in the App and on the App Store.

4.2 Free Features

Wiso's free tier includes:

  • Current weather conditions
  • Hourly weather forecasts
  • 7-day weather forecasts

4.3 Premium Features

A Wiso Premium subscription unlocks:

  • 3D isometric city scene rendering
  • All current and future premium cities

4.4 Billing

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region.

4.5 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

4.6 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

4.7 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple. We cannot process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

4.8 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes in advance, and changes will apply to the next billing cycle after notice is given.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to images, graphics, text, and software, is the property of Adrien Dulong or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

The generated cityscape images are created for personal, non-commercial use within the App. You may not redistribute, sell, or use these images for commercial purposes.

6. Weather Data

Weather data is provided by Apple Weather. While we strive to provide accurate information, weather forecasts are inherently uncertain. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of weather data.

You acknowledge that weather information should not be relied upon for safety-critical decisions. Always consult official sources for severe weather warnings and emergency situations.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Weather data will be accurate or reliable

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Adrien Dulong shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the App
  • Any errors or omissions in weather data
  • Unauthorized access to your data
  • Any other matter relating to the App

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Adrien Dulong from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
